Assign the decision
Record the business service, system owner, supplier dependency and security conditions behind each material architecture choice. A Design Authority connects the decision to delivery responsibilities and an agreed escalation route.
Verify the transition
Review identity boundaries, integration permissions, recovery assumptions and implementation evidence before accepting a transition. An unresolved condition needs an owner and a decision; a diagram alone cannot demonstrate control effectiveness.
